Postdoctoral researcher in public health
Jointly with the CHUM Research Centre

Trained as an endocrinologist, Houssein Madar conducts research within the INESSS Collective for Best Practices and Improved Community Care and Services (CoMPAS+) program. Supported by a CIHR Impact Grant, Houssein Madar’s postdoctoral project evaluates health indicators related to diabetes care. He develops a method that uses clinical and administrative data from INESSS as well as electronic medical records from PARS3. This method will inform decision-makers and clinicians about how to improve the quality of care for people with diabetes.
