A family physician by training, Paul Fabry has a university and professional experience in medical informatics. As part of his PhD in computer science, he is interested in knowledge and medical processes modelling, in the organization of information in medical records using ontologies and medical terminologies, and in computer tools facilitating reflexive practice in a clinical setting.
Paul Fabry is a former IT Analyst at the Information Technology and Information Resources Directorate (DRIT) of the CIUSSS de l’Estrie—CHUS. Previously, he was editorial director and responsible for the quality assurance team for the French translation project for the SNOMED CT® terminology (Sherbrooke Center of Expertise in Health and Canada Health Infoway). He has also held a variety of research positions at the CHUS and the Medical Informatics Department of Geneva University Hospitals.
