Professor Daniel J. Caron
Daniel J. Caron is a professor at the École nationale d’administration publique, where he holds the Chaire de recherche en exploitation des ressources informationnelles. He is also an adjunct professor at Carleton University. We are working closely with Prof. Caron to ensure a link with our Phase 2 research on transparency and his project on citizen trust and digital identity – issues in which he specializes.
Patient Partners

Denis Boutin
Denis has been living with type 1 diabetes for 40 years. In 2015, he had his first contact with the world of health research, first as a participant in a diabetes research project, then as a member of the Comité stratégique patient partenaire du CRCHUS. Having retired a few years ago, Denis is particularly interested in and passionate about measures, ideas and projects leading to the participative and dynamic integration of patients in research. As a patient partner, he is involved in diabetes research projects, governance mandates and research work related to data access. Also interested in data access and transparency issues, he has been collaborating on the CLARET research program since 2021.
Organizations
Alphare
Alphare, a Quebec non-profit organization specializing in popular literacy, has been working with us since 2018. Thanks to the expertise of the Alphare team, we can be sure that the topics we cover in surveys or focus groups are well understood by the participants.
First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission
Thanks to the expertise of our partners at the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission (FNQLHSSC), we are deepening our reflections so that our recommendations support the wishes of the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador regarding their principles on data governance.
