Marie-Pier Domingue

Ph.D. student in mathematics under the direction of Prof. Jean-François Ethier and Prof. Félix Camirand Lemyre
Presentation
Marie-Pier Domingue was first introduced to research through the fields of education and community health.
Interested in mobilizing mathematics to address health issues, she is currently working in collaboration with Héma-Québec on the risk estimation associated with the easing of exclusion criteria for blood donation. Her research project focuses on inference using probabilistic graphical models in the context of data accessibility issues. She also began her doctoral work on distributed inference methods with longitudinal data, in order to address health problems where data evolve over time.
Active by nature, she is never far from the running track, the volleyball court or the tennis court in her spare time.
