The first edition of the Interdisciplinary Summer School on Digital Health (EINS, for the French acronym École d’été interdisciplinaire en numérique de la santé) organized by the GRIIS as part of the chaire en MEI en numérique de la santé will be held from the 10th to the 14th of July 2023, at the University of Sherbrooke. This scientific event is for university students and professionals who wish to learn about the challenges of implementing digital health projects.
This edition promises to be exceptional as it will take place in parallel with the summer school ISAO (Interdisciplinary School on Applied Ontology) held as part of the 13th FOIS conference, which will take place from the 17th to the 20th of July 2023, at the University of Sherbrooke. “This crossroads of scientific gatherings represents a remarkable opportunity to combine interdisciplinary knowledge about digital health with the research in ontology of information systems,” says Professor Jean-François Ethier, member of the EINS organizing committee.
The topics discussed during the first edition of the EINS will be:
- data and knowledge modelling in health;
- the use of ontologies in the health domain;
- analysis of health data;
- consent and transparency in the context of health data use.
Those interested in learning more about the program and how to register are invited to visit the EINS website at www.eins.griis.ca.
